10 Munchies We've Come To Love

We all have those days where we just want to sit at home and binge watch our favorite shows with the best bowl of "munchies" beside us. This is a list of munchies that tends to be our 'date'.

1. Popcorn

I know it's super cliche, but who doesn't love a bowl of salty, buttery goodness? Not to mention that it helps with bone support and it helps your teeth. So, dig in, we all know you're thinking about grabbing that fourth handful (probably the rest of the bag, if we're being honest).

2. Oreos

These are some killer cookies. Who cares that their cookie to cream ratio is disproportionate. Just try not to drop them in the milk and reenact Titanic.

3. Cookies, in general

Cookies, period.

4. Kettle Chips

Listen, if you want that kind of chip that would be able to annoy the hell out of someone in a quiet library, these are you're chips. Not only do they have the best crunch, they taste so much better than regular Lays, yo.

5. Ice Cream

Whether it's to get over your recent break-up, or to simply binge on your favorite Ben & Jerry's, ice cream is definitely one of the best munchies anyone could eat.

6. Trail Mix

Yo. This is the stuff, right here. Trail mix is probably, hands down, the best mix of anything you can get. There's the chocolate mix, granola, siracha, tuscan - the list honestly goes on.

7. Cakes

Whether it's one of those delicious cupcakes that can't fit in your mouth with one bite, or the birthday cake that's been sitting on the counter, calling your name. Everyone loves cake.

8. Fruit

Of course, we can't forget the fruit. Probably the healthiest thing on this list, let's be honest. Fruit, it's just awesome. I mean, there's such a diverse kind, that you don't just have to stick to a specific one. When in doubt, fruit it out.

9. Brownies

Whoever doesn't love brownies, is most definitely lying. Brownies are almost essential - they were brought up in your childhood as those little ones that break in the middle, and pray to God that none of those mini kisses dropped on the floor. Let's be real, you didn't want your parents to know that you were sneaking into the munchie cabinet for breakfast.

10. Fast Food

Fast food. Oh my goodness - french fries. Soft pretzels (pretzel buns(!!)). Pizza! Sometimes, you just want to eat fast food everyday because you could get something different each time - of course, you'd be wondering why you're broke as a joke by the end of the week, but I'll sip my tea on that.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
