1. The Fundamentals of Caring

A Netflix original, this film is both comedic and dramatic. It follows the story of a caregiver and a disabled teenager, who find themselves while embarking on an impromptu road trip to the world’s deepest pit.

2. High Strung

High Strung is the perfect movie for any Step Up lovers. This romance combines classical music, ballet, and hiphop in the most breathtaking way.

3. A Girl Like Her

This mockumentary documents the secret bullying of a teenage girl, which eventually leads to her attempted suicide. The film is extremely well made, and sheds a needed light on the issue of bullying in America.

4. Fruitvale Station

Fruitvale Station tells the true story of Oscar Grant, who was shot by a police officer at the Fruitvale Station on the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART).

5. The Imitation Game

Another biographical-drama, The Imitation Game is based off the story of Alan Turing, a British man who helped crack some of the Nazi codes using Enigma. His story is that of a lost hero, who saved millions of lives while struggling with his own acceptance of his homosexuality.

6. Hush

For fans of horror films, this is the film for you. This eery film is so mysterious that it’ll keep you on the edge of your seat the entire time.

7. 23 Blast

Football, drama, triumph. What more do you need in a movie?

8. Forrest Gump

This is an all time classic that I’m so happy to have on Netflix! Follow the rollercoaster ride that is Forrest Gump’s life!

9. Nightcrawler

Through the actions of Louis Bloom, Nightcrawler shows us that there is a thin line between criminal and innocent.

10. White Chicks

This is one of the funniest comedies I’ve seen. I highly recommend it!
