As Denisonians, we're very busy, very active, and (sometimes) very overwhelmed individuals. We share a lot in common, though--living on this beautiful hill has its perks, its downfalls, and its challenges. Here's 13 GIFs that go out to my fellow Denisonians--because I think we all can relate.
1. That feeling when it's 9pm and you can finally get the late-night food options.
What even is dining hall food when you can wait to have the Nest and the Snatch?
2. Fan-girling over anything Steve Carell or Jennifer Garner-Related.
3. Seeing a dog in Granville and freaking out just because you miss yours so much.
I'm sorry for all of the adorable animals of Granville I've scared in the making of my happiness.
4. When the Swasey Chapel Bells play a song you know...
*Dance moves not included*
5. Passing 10 people on A-quad...and knowing all of them.
Hey, Alex. What's up Rachel?! Hi, Doug! Oh hey again, Ryan, how was class since I saw you 52 minutes ago?
6. Eating Whit's for breakfast.
It's the best custard in the universe AND it's open at 6am...Don't judge us.
7. Trying to make it up the stairs from South Quad can be a real struggle.

8. Wanting to train/pet/ride/take a picture of every deer in sight.
Deer are friends, NOT food.
9. Eating pizza for all three meals at Curtis because, well...it's Curtis.
Why yes, pizza is one of the main food groups.
10. Trying not to step on the seal like...
Too many close calls, man. You do that back handspring/cartwheel/somersault if you have to.
11. When everyone and their mothers are at Slayter to use their declining right before 1:00 p.m.

12. Seeing a prospie with a red folder in class and being like...![]()
For real, though, come to Denison. You'll see for yourself soon, but this place is awesome.
13. When it comes right down to it, knowing that this place is everything a home should be.
We love, support, encourage, build up, and understand each other. Just like any dysfunctional family, we sometimes don't see eye to eye but that's okay. At the end of the day, we are so grateful for all of the craziness we go through together. This is our home on the hill and we wouldn't have it any other way.
