10 Gifs That Prove Cats Are Just People Without Inhibitions

We've all had moments where we really want to steal food off a friend's plate or cuddle with someone. Unfortunately, social conventions can make those times a bit awkward. Cats, on the other hand, give no f**ks about such frivolous things! Here are some GIFs that show cats doing whatever pleases them.

1. They'll Steal Food.

Cats don't care whose food is whose. If it's near them, it's up for grabs.

2. They Don't Stand For Being Woken Up.

Have you ever tried waking a cat up? It just doesn't happen. Unlike people, they don't care about responsibilities. Sleep is of the number one importance for them.

3. They Expect Cuddles.

You can't reject cuddles from a cat. If they decide they want to cuddle, then they will get their cuddles (regardless of how long they've known you).

4. They Don't Tolerate Being Tricked into Eating Healthy...

Humans might pretend to like a healthy food out of politeness, but not cats. They'll make sure to let their feelings be known, even if they might hurt some feelings.

5. ...Or Unwanted Advances...

We all have that one aunt who just has to kiss us hello. Humans might begrudgingly deal with that, but cats just don't care. When a cat doesn't want someone to touch them, they will make sure everyone knows it.

6. ...Or Junk Mail...

Junk mail infuriates all people. This cat has the right idea, though. They'll just stop it from entering the house all together.

7. ...Or Annoying Kids...

When's the last time you've had to deal with a group of out of control children? Pretty sure we've all had moments where we want to just push a rude kid right out of our face, like this cat does.

8. They Don't Pretend to Exercise.

Working out is just ... ugh. Cats know what's up. They don't pretend to do it or try to impress people by going to the gym. They just want to take more naps (don't we all?).

9. They Don't Care About What You Want Them to Do.

What's that? You have to get up and go to the store? A human might fall for that, but puh-lease! Cats know better.

10. They're Always Being Pampered.

Cats truly have the life. They have no responsibilities and are always being cuddled by someone. You know that if you have as relaxed a life as a cat, you would!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
