1. Mulan

Don't ever try and fight me on this. Mulan is the most bad-ass Disney Princess of all time, and no one will ever top her. She singlehandedly defeated the Huns and saved all of China while pretending to be a man because it wasn't okay for women to fight. What did you do when you were a teenager?

2. Merida

The most iconic "independent woman who didn't need no man." There were other princesses in Disney history who didn't find a prince, but Merida went out of her way to prove she did not need one. She beat three men in a physical test to win her own hand in marriage--she really did not want to get tied down.

3. Elsa

Her story was focused on protecting others, which meant isolating herself from her sister Anna, to protect her. Who has time to find a man when you have magical powers and an ice castle to build?

4. Megara

One of the most underrated characters in Disney history. Meg has a rough outer shell and always had her guard up, but on the inside she had the biggest heart for the ones she cared for and risked her life to save Hercules.

5. Mrs. Incredible

It's no secret that all moms are superheroes, but this kick-ass mom was a literal superhero. While trying to save her family, she also saved the world when she had some downtime.

6. Tiana

Tiana knew from the beginning that the only way to get what you want is by working hard, and that's all she ever did. She made history as the first black Disney princess and she stole our hearts when her story came to the big screen. She inspires girls everywhere that you can achieve your dream through hard work and determination.

7. Anna

Anna's goal was always to find true love after being sheltered in all her life, but she gave that all up and risked her life to save her older sister Elsa.

8. Mama Odie

Mama Odie was the crazy grandma we all wished we had. Not only was she always the life of the party but she had words of wisdom to help people in their times of trouble.

9. Esmerelda

She was beautiful, courageous, and one of the most caring characters Disney has ever created. She did everything she could to protect her people and put her life at stake more than once for the ones she loved.

10. Jane

One of the most brilliant and adventurous Disney characters of all time, she befriended Tarzan when everyone else was afraid of him.

11. Princess Leia (BONUS!)

How could I not include her? Disney now owns "Star Wars" which makes her an official Disney Princess. She defended the galaxy, kicked some major Stormtrooper ass, and still looked hot while doing it. Every little girl who saw "Star Wars" grew up wanting to be her.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
