There isn’t a better time of the year to stay home, relax and watch a movie. I’m the kind of person that thinks that every single moment is a perfect one to watch something. But, there’s a special feeling to watch a movie while it’s cold outside, while it’s raining or better when it’s snowing! Obviously, every time of the year has a special and different kind of movie to watch. This is the perfect time to get involved with Christmas movies. Light your fireplace, have some coffee and sit on the couch… if you want to spend a relaxing evening, then there isn’t a better choice than this.

It doesn’t matter if you are celebrating Christmas or Hanukkah,it doesn’t matter if you have a different religion, you can for sure watch these films.

This is the time of the year you spend inside with your family, and there isn’t a better thing than getting an idea which movies to watch…

Here is a list of what I think are the best movies to watch during Christmas vacation:

1) Christmas with the Kranks

The Kranks decide to run away from Christmas until their daughter comes home for the holiday…

2) The Nativity Story

One of the best movies based on the nativity of Jesus, you can’t miss this especially if you are Christian…

3) The Holiday

Two women with sentimental problems decide to switch houses for the Christmas holiday, and they fall in love….

4) It Happened On 5th Avenue

You should watch it…it received a nomination for the best story.


5) Miracle on 34th Street

The story takes place in a department store in which the real Santa Claus is working…

6) Love Actually

It talks about the lives of 8 couples dealing with their romantic lives, in England a month before Christmas.

7) A Charlie Brown Christmas…

8) Babes in Toyland

A Laurel and Hardy musical, in which they work for Santa… and you should watch the movie if you haven’t seen it yet..

9) The Muppet Christmas Carol

The Muppet characters tell the story of the Christmas Eve tale...

10) How The Grinch Stole Christmas,

A green and ugly Grinch plans on ruining the Christmas holiday to all the citizens in town.
