I have this theory that you can’t not like to read. You just haven’t found something that interests you to read yet. Everyone likes something, some people like Romance, Si-Fi, Drama, Mystery, Horror, Some people like to read screenshot conversations, Some people like to read poetry or Shakespeare. The point is you can’t say you don’t read because you read every day you read screenshots, Snapchats, Facebook posts...I think you get my idea. So here are 10 books that I think almost anyone could read and enjoy.

1. The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah

A truely heart-wrenching story about two sisters in Paris during WWII. The story follows Vienna and Isabella, two very different sisters who both do what they can to defy the Nazi party in secret. Historical fiction that will not only educate you but pull on your heartstrings.

2. All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven

Finch and Violet will take you on an adventure of a lifetime. It will remind and teach you how to love and live again. A coming of age story about the trials of being a teen in the twenty-first century.

3. The Outsiders by S.E Hinton

A timeless classic about “Greasers and Socs.” Two very different groups of people all trying to do the same thing. Figure out who they are and what they want to be remembered for. Johnny and the Curtis boys along with their friends will let you glimpse into their not always so golden lives.

4. What We Saw by Aaron Hartzler

People suck, they are mean and do horrible things to one another to make themselves feel better about a certain situation. That when you meet Kate, you and her go on a journey together discovering what is right and what isn’t and sometimes you need to get yourself involved.

5. A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L’Engle

Travel the universes with Meg and her band of misfits as they look beyond what is normally there how they break the status quo of “normal.” All the while saving the galaxy and the “dark thing.” Sometimes our greatest strength is Love.

6. We All Looked Up by Tommy Wallach

We have all read our share of books about what happens after an apocalypse, world war, etc. But what about before an asteroid is supposed to hit earth? They have two months to lose their labels, it no longer matters who is a jock, nerd, or a perfectionist. Will you be with them as they all look up?

7. Holding Up the Universe by Jennifer Niven

Jennifer Niven rocks it again with another fantastic book about breaking stereotypes! Libby has her struggles and battles them every day to try to leave her past behind. Jack may seem like he has it all together, but he has his own secrets, too. Jack and Libby have more in common than just going to the same high school. Their shared past will bring them together.

8. Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell

Worried about freshman year of college? Well so is Cath, a scared freshman from Omaha, Nebraska who is trying to find her way around UNL campus. Go with her as she has her freshman year struggles, with classes, boys, and trying to express herself outside her Fan-Fiction.

9. First Love by James Patterson

We all want an adventure, we all want to go see the world, well not all of can, unfortunately. But here’s what you can do...You can go on a journey with a “GG” (Good Girl) and a “Scalawag.” As these two travel across the country finding themselves and each other.

10. Tell Me Three Things by Julie Buxbaum

It’s your first day at a new school and you don’t know a soul. Then you get a message from someone telling you that they want to help you transition to the new school… Would you reply? Would you see what they had to say? Would you take a leap of faith since you don’t know anyone and what’s the worst that could happen? Go with Jessie and see if Somebody/Nobody (SN) is the real deal or not.

You see, I could have made it super easy on myself and just told you to read all seven Harry Potter books, but I’m nice so… Go forth and read, love, cry, and learn. With the best therapy, escape, hobby, and passer of time I have had the pleasure of learning.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
