Love is in the air and definitely on everyone's mind.

With Valentine's Day just a couple days away, let's go back and look at the best fictional couples we all hope to become.

1. Danny Zuko and Sandra Dee from Grease, the musical (1978)

Let's face it. The moment Danny, played by John Travolta, looked straight at the camera at the call of his name, every girl wanted a piece of that smile. His handsome good looks, greased back hair and bad-boy attitude turned every good girl bad. Let's not forget Danny's love, Sandra, played by Olivia Newton-John, who was shy to play the high-school games but turned to be the woman of Danny's dreams. Though Danny and Sandra are polar opposites, their united forces caused us to fall in love for the good and bad in all of us.

2. Nick Miller and Jessica Day from New Girl, comedy show (2011)

If you categorize yourself as a hopeless romantic, awkward person and love to have fun, you know you want a relationship like Nick and Jess. Though Nick Miller, played by Jake Johnson, is a lazy soul with a law degree, Jess Day, played by Zooey Deschanel, finds the beauty in Nick's flaws and embraces him for who he is. Who can forget the kiss in Season 2 where Nick catches Jess as she walks away and plants one on her only to say "I meant something like that."

Their awkward nature, fun personalities and lazy souls seek the best in each other- food stains and all.

3. Jim Halpert and Pam Beesly from The Office, comedy sitcom (2005)

Love requires patience. Lots and Lots of patience. Take Jim Halpert, played by John Kransinski, who waited years to ask Pam out. Even during Pam's engagement, Jim never lost hope in waiting for the one thing he'd ways wanted: true love. Pam Beesly, played by Jenna Fischer, though quiet and shy, found her voice through Jim's confidence and sought the best in herself.

Their love is not only shown through their physical affection, but also through their caring personalities, incredible listening abilities and seeking the best in each other.

4. Mr.Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet from the Pride and Prejudice, the novel written by Jane Austen (1813)

Stubborn people make the worst romantics. In Pride and Prejudice, Elizabeth Bennet, played by Keira Knightley, is the very definition of a strong, independent women who wants more than what she is given. Growing up in a male dominated society, Elizabeth seeks a man who will challenge her mind, but also her emotions to experience love. Similarly, Mr. Darcy, played by Matthew Macfadyen, though stubborn and cold, he seeks a women who will test the borders of love and patience.

Filled with passion and anger, these two make any stubborn person's heart flutter with ease knowing that someone will find them in the midst of their chaos.

5. Sheldon Cooper and Amy Farrah Fowler from The Big Bang Theory, comedy sitcom (2007)

Love is the most complicated science known to man. Filled with numbers, facts, emotions and hormones, any genius knows that love can get sticky pretty fast. However, that does not stop Sheldon and Amy from finding each other in the midst of their massive brains and superego's . Sheldon Cooper, played by Jim Parsons, begins the show with the idea that love is for hopeless romantics and, obviously, not for geniuses seeking the answers to life's most fundamental questions. However, after an unexpected blind date, Sheldon finds the one person who see's life behind a similar lens: a microscope. Little did she know, Jack, played by Leonardo DiCaprio, a poor, homeless young boy, would capture her heart regardless of his social class or daring personality.

Their societal differences caused them to see Love for the priceless possession it is- even if that means dying in the middle of the ocean together.

7. Cory Matthews and Topanga Lawrence from Boy Meets World, 90's sit-com (1993)

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
