With the live-action version of "Beauty and the Beast" coming out this Friday, it seemed like the perfect time to remember some classic quotes from the original movie. From sexist comments to unforgettable one-liners, here are 10 "Beauty and the Beast" quotes all females can relate to.

1. "It's not right for a woman to read. Soon she starts getting ideas... thinking..." — Gaston

Gaston, you are positively primeval and represent the sexist ideas that led to the rise of feminism. While some men still think this way about women, I am proud to say that the large majority of men that I have met support women getting an education.

2. "Did you honestly think she'd want someone like you when she had someone like me?" — Gaston

Another sexist comment from the one-and-only Gaston. Every girl has met a guy who thinks his own reflection is the most beautiful thing in the world, but having so much pride just makes you extremely unattractive. Remember guys: humility is beauty.

3. "Well there's the usual things: flowers... chocolates... promises you don't intend to keep." — Cogsworth

How many times has a guy made a promise to you without any intentions of keeping it just because it was what you wanted to hear? I rest my case. Not to mention the stereotype of flowers and chocolate as a gift for women. How about a Sephora gift card? I'm just saying...

4. "What's wrong with her? She's crazy. He's gorgeous." — Bimbettes

When every girl in the class thinks that one guy is so hot and you're like, "He's okay."

5. "Well you should learn to control your temper." — Belle

Besides the back and forth banter from this scene that any girl will admit she has been involved in, every girl has at least one guy in her life who has a slight temper. Sometimes, that slight temper shows just how passionate you are about a topic. It can be endearing and terrifying at the same time.

6. "We'll have 6 or 7." "Dogs?" "No, Belle. Strapping boys like me." — Gaston and Belle

When everyone around you, including your significant other, wants you to have kids but you'd rather just have dogs.

7. "Please attempt to be a gentleman." "But she's being so difficult!" — Cogsworth and Beast

I'm going to be honest here. I know I can be difficult at times. All females can be difficult. In reality, all people can be difficult, but we really do appreciate it when we're being difficult and you still act like gentlemen.

8. "I've been burned by you before." — Feather Duster

It's almost impossible to find a girl who hasn't gotten her heartbroken at least once before. It can be a significant other, a crush or even a best friend. Everyone knows what it's like to get burned, and it's not fun.

9. "Le Fou, I'm afraid I've been thinking." "A dangerous pastime..." "I know." — Gaston and Le Fou

Thinking really can be dangerous. You start to overthink and overanalyze. "What if he doesn't like me?" "What if he was lying to me?" "What if she doesn't want to invite me?" Sometimes, your worst enemy is your own subconscious.

10. "Tale as old as time, song as old as rhyme. Beauty and the beast." — Mrs. Potts

The most memorable quote from "Beauty and the Beast" reminds us that looks are not everything. Stop focusing on every imperfection you see in the mirror. Remind yourself how beautiful you are. What's on the inside and what you have to offer to society is what's really important.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
