10 Reasons Why Cruising Is The Best Way To Vacation

Take it from the cruising queen, cruising is the best way to vacation.

1. The Food

The food has to be mentioned. Not only is the food always incredible and something different than what you always eat, but its also included! Eat your heart away!

2. Deck Parties

Dancing, lights, drinks, themes, and a whole lot of fun. That about sums it up, deck parties are a great way to spend a night on the ship! Plus everyone from all ages is included.

3. The Ports

I think a big selling factor is that you get to go to more than one place. On a 7 day cruise, you can go to at least 4 different ports. This means you can say you've been to a lot more places than if you did a land-based trip.

4. Shows and Entertainment

There is always something going on on the ship. Whether you are in the mood for a piano bar or a Broadway-like show, there is something for you!

5. Stewards

So stewards and stewardesses are god-sent! They are amazing. They clean your room twice a day. This includes making up and turning down your bed, cleaning the sink and shower, sometimes folding your clothes, and the best part (cannot be guaranteed), the towel animals!

6. The Staff

Cruise ship staff, in general, is the best! They are all so kind and helpful, they want to make the vacation one you will never forget. I can't tell you how many cruise ship employees have done something special for me that I will never forget.

7. The Diversity

Cruise ships host people from all over the world. Whether they are employees or other vacationers, you are guaranteed to meet someone from a different part of the world. How cool is that?

8. You Can Experience Things At Different Ages

One of the things I have always loved about cruises is that you are in International waters so the rules are different. You can drink beer and wine at the age of 18, as well as gamble at the casino and go to the clubs and comedy shows. For young adults from America, this is a big selling factor.

9. Kid's Club

I started cruising when I was 8. Some people thought that cruises most have been boring for me but yet they have always been quite the opposite. I always enjoyed the Kid's club on cruises because I got to participate in fun activities like theme nights and scavenger hunts while I also got to make new friends from all over the world!

10. The Price

Ok, don't let people tell you that cruises are expensive! I mean, they are pricey but not for what you get. Cruises include so much for everyone and are such a breeze! Plus, there are always so many good deals on cruises! My go-to website is https://www.vacationstogo.com/.

Honestly, I could go on forever and ever about everything that makes cruising amazing but hopefully this list was enough to convince you to give it a try!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
