This week, I was clueless when I started thinking about what I wanted to write for Odyssey. I knew I wanted to do something fun, but I didn't have any ideas. So, of course, I decided to procrastinate which lead me to YouTube, which then lead me to find The Zombie Apocalypse Book Tag, and I finally decided, "Yep. That's what I'm doing!"

This book tag (at least, I think) was created by Nathan Hale on YouTube. In the tag there are a total of 10 situations that could happen during a zombie apocalypse, and each situation belongs to a character.

Here's how it works:

1. Pick five books.

2. Turn to a random page.

3. The first name you see gets to be on you zombie survival team.

4. Apply them to the 10 situations. (It's supposed to be the first two situations go to two characters in the first chosen book, but I'm going to alternate the books.)

Before we start, below are the books I have chosen.

Let's get started and see who's on my team, shall we?

1. The first person to die

Ash from the "Lux" series by J. L. Armentrout.

Sorry, Ash, but you drove me crazy during these books, then things happened and, well... (No spoilers).

2. The person you trip to get away from the zombies

Zach Goode from the "Gallagher Girl" series by Ally Carter.

NO, NO, NO! I AM SO SORRY, NO YOU'RE MY FAVORITE! I DIDN'T MEAN TO.

3. The first person to turn into a zombie

Eric from the "Divergent" series by Veronica Roth.

Haha, it's kind of like you're already a zombie, you evil killing machine...

4. The person that trips YOU to get away from the zombies

Dimitri from the "Vampire Academy" series by Richelle Mead.

How dare you, Dimitri! I was always on your side through everything!

5. The idiot of the team

Camille from the "Infernal Devices" trilogy by Cassandra Clare.

Um, that doesn't make a whole lot sense to me, but it's not like I love Camille or anything...

6. The "brains" of the team

Daemon from the "Lux" series.

I'm on board with this. Very, very much on board.

7. The team's medic

Macy from the "Gallagher Girl" series.

Hmm... she's a beautiful and intelligent spy. She might be able to help us out.

8. The weapons expert

Tobias from the "Divergent" series.

Yes! We might have a chance! Four is our lucky number!

9. The brawler

Rose from the "Vampire Academy" series.

This is very believable. You never know what she's capable of...

10. The team captain

Jem from "The Infernal Devices."

I can handle this. Jem, I applaud you; I believe in you. (And I love you...)

Well, I don't think our team is too doomed, but I'd probably still struggle with my inability to run and fight, but who knows? Maybe one of my awesome teammates will teach me how.

Who would your team be in a zombie apocalypse? Now you know a fun way to find out.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
