In the wake of Trump's announcement to withdraw the US from the Paris agreement, we decided to investigate his decision-making process. This is what we found.

WASHINGTON, D.C.-- Last Thursday, U.S. President Trump announced to the nation and the world that he would start the process to withdraw the United States from the Paris Agreement, a 2015 pact between 195 signatory nations designed to address climate change. The decision instantly caused intense outcry across the nation, as, for some unknown reason, people seem to want to keep the planet they live on healthy and alive.

But how? How could Trump make such a drastic, earth-shattering, Earth-killing decision, one that could alter the fate of our nation (in terms of health, environment, future resource availability, even long-term economic prospects) with what seems to be so little consideration?

Quite easily, apparently. We've gotten an inside scoop on Trump's decision-making process, and we've uncovered something shocking.

"Look, when you're in charge, okay, you gotta think quick, and you gotta do whatever makes your people happy, alright?" Trump said to one of our undercover reporters, "And whatever you do, you gotta make it yuuuge, okay? Here."

Trump then took our White House plant into the Oval Office and took down a portrait of President Lincoln to reveal a secret dartboard covered in policy-proposals. "Listen, I don't have time for all the advisers, okay? I have to maintain my public image. I have to keep up with my businesses-- oh, come on, anyone who really thought a yuge businessman like me could keep away is a moron, okay?-- and I have to protect my people. I don't have time to make up new ideas, okay? So this is what I do."

According to our inside agent, Trump then produced a dart and threw it at the board. He missed twice, then hit paper. Our agent was hesitant to reveal what the dart hit, or what else was on the board, but she did have this to say:

"Apparently he got each of his Cabinet members and top campaign donors to write their number one policy suggestions on pieces of paper. What were the suggestions? Well... If he brings back child labor, bombs Nicaragua, bans non-Christians from attending public schools, or moves for the U.S. to topple the British government, just... Just don't be surprised, alright?"

Our agent also pulled a crumpled slip of paper reading "PULL OUT of Paris Agreement" from a trash basket in the Oval Office. I don't think I need to spell out the implications.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
