To my friends, roommates, and family, "The Creatures" are simply "those idiots on the Internet who play games and yell at each other."
While that may be true, to fans and to me, "The Creatures" are an amazing group of people in their twenties who will do anything to put smiles on the faces of those who watch what they have produced.
"The Creatures" are a group of content creators on YouTube. After starting out with their original channels and meeting one another through mutual friends and playing games from across the United States, the group came together in April 2011 and formed their channel "The Creature Hub." Because they all still lived within their home states, their channel primarily started out as collaborative game-play and a place for their videos-on-demand (VODs) from streams and podcasts.
In 2012, however, The Creatures collectively made a risky decision to move out to Colorado, where Jordan "Kootra" Mathewson resided, in hopes to further develop some ground for their future company. Between 2012 and 2013, The Creatures lived and worked together in two different houses to create more, and better content for their audience. During that time, The Creatures produced several videos that are in their top five videos with the most views. These videos include "Seamus gets a Midnight Snack" with 1.84 million views, "Bunny Bust," with 1.7 million views, and "Nova & Danz Prank Gassy," with 1.6 million views.
Then, in January 2014, The Creatures, LLC. was born, and they moved into an office building based in Littleton, Colorado. Now there, they continue to put in an exuberant amount of time and effort into what they do, never losing passion and working tirelessly - not only for the Hub channel, but for their own individual channels as well. Since being in the office, they have created two videos that have their most amount of views. Number two on the list is "Fart Spray Prank Gone Wrong!" with 1.89 million views, and the video holding the number one spot with the most views is "50 Lush Bath Bombs," with 2.8 million views. "50 Lush Bath Bombs" was also featured on BuzzFeed, Elite Daily, and The Best of YouTube.
Over time, The Creatures have had many members - some lost, and others gained. Some of the founding members that have remained to this day are Jordan "Kootra" Mathewson, Daniel "Danz" Gidlow, James "Nova" Wilson, and Seamus "SSoH" O'Doherty. Since the birth of their small business, Aleksandr "Immortal" Marchant and Dexter J. Manning have been added to their roster, dubbing the title as a Creature. As The Creatures, LLC. have been expanding, they have also gained Spencer "Yabaecip" Lovell, Joseph "Artist Joe" Lawson, Stefani Sarconi, "Intern Joe," and Aron "StaleRender" to work for and with them.

Altogether with their many personalities, skills, and talents, The Creatures aim to produce high-quality content for their viewers. They produce live-action short films, parodies, game-play series, animations, and even music videos. In addition, The Creatures also host a weekly video-podcast called Creature Talk, where they talk for one to two hours about gaming news, announcements about upcoming content, or other spur-of-the-moment topics. Annually, they attend various anticipated gaming events and conventions that take them across the country - across the globe - where they hold panels and signings, where a growing amount of fans come to see them. This past summer, at RTX 2015, The Creatures were able to have their own booth for the first time where they were able to sell merchandise and interact with fans as much as possible. A particular anticipated event that The Creatures do annually is their 24-hour charity live-stream. Usually taking place around Halloween, The Creatures spend 24-hours raising money for a charity of their choice while broadcasting live. They set goals for certain amounts of money that is raised, and during the time they deprive themselves of sleep, they follow through with their painful or disgusting goals and play games to entertain their audience. This year, their "LiveScream" raised over $40,000 for the charity There With Care.

As for games, some of the most popular series that The Creatures have created have been: Creature Game Nights; their Minecraft series, such as Treetopia and Creature Factions; First Five; and The Creatures Play. In addition to those, a new series that has become increasingly popular is one titled "The King," where two Creatures compete head-to-head to see who will obtain the right to be called "King of the Office" until the next episode is recorded.
Other popular series are the ones that are more focused on the group themselves and the things they do. These series include Creature Movie Trips, where some or all of The Creatures go to see a movie, and then give their reviews after; The HUB, which are bi-weekly update videos, letting fans know what everyone is up to; The Annual Great Easter Egg Hunt, where James "Nova" Wilson sets up a horrifically disgusting Easter egg hunt for co-worker Jordan "Kootra" Mathewson; and their annual road trips to a convention called E3 (2014 // 2015).
Two series that are relatively new for fans to look out for are Toy Chest, where Kootra tests out toys from their local Toys R Us and Target, and Candy Corner, where various members from the office sit down and test out wacky flavors of candy.
The Creature Hub as over one million subscribers and over 400 million views. Collectively, they have over 6 million subscribers that continues to grow each and every day.
