Most of us have been through it, but it has yet to begin for some. It’s that moment when your whole world turns upside down. When your heart beat slows and you start to lose a little bit of hope. You’re frozen in time, paralyzed by fear. Your heart begins to break piece by piece. That moment when everything in your life changes, whether it’s gone or just pushed further away from you. This moment is unbearable to go through alone.
Many reading may have something in mind: a divorce, a loss of a loved one, the time you had to leave everything behind and move. It could be anything, but for the most part, we have all felt the same way. However, if you haven’t experienced this yet, I pray that you have a good support system to help you through.
The tears may or may not come, depending on how you feel that on a particular night. Your emotions will take you on a ride like you’ve never felt before. There will be days that you question the purpose of, but you choose to keep moving forward for the people that you love. You may lose sight of the path you’re supposed to be going on, but God always has a plan and will lead you in the right direction.
The plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations.

We all deal with the pain a little differently. Some may submerge themselves into activities so they don’t become depressed, only to slow down and remember the pain they’ve been pushing aside. Others may keep to their self, not wanting to bother anyone with their irrelevant conversations, when all they really want is someone who will listen and tell them that everything will be O.K.
My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.
-Psalm 62:1-2
No one should live through this pain alone. If you are, then reach out to someone you know, even if you’re not close. They will care more than you think. And above all, seek God in your time of need, for he promises to never leave you.
