Ever had a bad day? Ever wanted to throw in the towel and say you're done? Don't give up. When life is being hard, and you're not feeling strong, turn to God to be your strength. These 15 scriptures are perfect for those rough days when you feel like a complete mess.

1. Psalms 46:1 "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble." (NIV)

When you feel like everything is hitting you at once, and you're knee-deep in a mess of your own making, read this verse. You don't have to be your own strength. God is your strength, and He is there to help you right in the middle of your trouble.

2. Matthew 11:28 "Come to me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." (NIV)

When you're fed up with everything and you feel like you can't take anything else, turn to the Lord. Through Him, you will find the rest you so desperately need.

3. Isaiah 41:10 "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." (NIV)

You don't have to fear anything in this world. God is walking right beside you and protecting you from evil. He is there to help you and catch you when you fall.

4. 2 Corinthians 12:9 "But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me." (NIV)

When you are weak, God's grace is enough to get you through. You don't have to pretend that you are perfect. God made us imperfect creatures. Only through Him are we perfect.

5. Philippians 4:13 "I can do all this through him who gives me strength." (NIV)

This is probably one of my favorite verses of all time. There is nothing that I can't do through Christ. He is my strength in times of weakness. When I fall short, He will be there to hold me up.

6. 2 Timothy 1:7 "For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline." (NIV)

God didn't give us a spirit of fear. We are to be loving, self-disciplined. We are not weak or lesser just because we are Christians. Through our Christianity, we are made powerful.

7. Hebrews 13:8 "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." (NIV)

Jesus hasn't changed. The miracles that He performed in the Bible are still possible today through faith. If He did it then, He can do it now. Don't doubt the power of the Lord.

8. Psalms 37:4 "Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart." (NIV)

If you center your life around Christ, He will give you everything you need. Stop focusing on finding a significant other or searching for the perfect job. Work on your relationship with God and He will take care of the rest.

9. 1 Corinthians 16:13 "Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong." (NIV)

Don't let anyone dissuade you from your faith! Stand strong and be courageous when asked about your Christianity. Don't try and hide it. Be proud!

10. Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (NIV)

This is another personal favorite verse in the Bible. You can't tell the future. You don't know what will happen tomorrow, but God does. He knows the plans He has laid out for your future. His plans are perfect and give you hope and prosperity. Make sure you're walking in His plan and not your own.

11. Psalms 94:19 "When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy." (NIV)

You're going to be stressed and anxious at some point in your life. When these times come, find your peace and joy in the Lord. No matter what is being thrown at you, remember that through Him, everything will be okay.

12. Isaiah 40:31 "But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." (NIV)

If you trust in the Lord, He will give you all the strength you need to fly. You'll never grow tired or weary as long as you are trusting in Him. I'm not saying that things will never get rough or hard, but through Him, you'll have the strength to continue on.

13. Psalms 147:3 "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." (NIV)

Broken hearts are a terrible type of pain. This verse in Psalms assures you that God heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. When you're hurting and heart broken, turn to the Lord to be your Healer.

14. Proverbs 3:5 "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;" (NIV)

We cannot do this life alone. Let me say that again. YOU CANNOT MAKE IT THROUGH THIS LIFE BY YOURSELF. Put your trust in the Lord and don't try and do things alone. It's so much easier when you have God by your side.

15. Psalms 27:14 "Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD." (NIV)

Waiting is awful. No one likes to sit and wait. Still, the Lord works in HIS timing and not ours. Sometimes He'll ask you to wait and be patient. Just know that whatever is on the other side of your wait is going to be more wonderful than you can even comprehend.

Everyone has bad days. In this life, you're going to want to give up. You'll get stressed, depressed, and probably sick and tired of whatever your situation is. If you're in one of those situations where you feel like everything is going wrong, just turn to these scriptures from the Word of God for advice. There's no greater wisdom than the wisdom of God.

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.
