This is for anyone who has ever felt that they are replaceable as a person. This article is for the people who hid from the world and stayed low to the ground and would rather have not be bothered by life. This is also for the people who question their existence and who they are. This is also for people who just need a reminder that they are important and that they are worth it. As a society, we have branded what makes you have your worth. And guess what, society has it wrong.

Your worth is not measured by your physical appearance. There is so much in society that says that the way you physically look has some major importance measuring your worth. The looks will eventually fade. Unfortunately for all the girls out there who pride themselves on looks, it will all go away. The blonde hair will fade or fall out. Life will happen but true beauty comes from the inside. This is hard to accept from a society who prides itself on physical attraction but please hear me when I say that this does not define your worth at all.

Your worth is not measured by how smart and successful you are. This world has a funny way of define what smart is. Those who go to college are seen as smarter than those who go to a tech school. This couldn’t be farther from the truth. Everyone is gifted with different talents. Some people can go to college and read books and absorb all the information. They are book smart. There are others who can figure out a lock or a car or plumbing without a second glance. Yet as a society, we look down upon them. How could your worth be based on your intelligence? Society can’t even understand the different sides of intelligence.

Your worth is not found in another person. We tend to believe that we can find our worth in a boy or a girl. That our significant other can define our worth but they can’t. Trust me they can’t. How can your worth be found in someone who is just as imperfect as you are? They are going to make mistakes. They are going to fail you. They are going to constantly not meet expectations. So why would you put your worth in that? Your worth means so much more. You owe it to yourself.

So if all those things don’t show your worth, what does? You define your worth. You must decide what you are worth. This article is here to remind you that no matter what you have done or who you are, you are worth a thousand crystals. You are a person who deserves the world. You have to decide to agree with this. You can place your worth in your looks, in your intelligence or a significant other but that will leave you empty and settling. No person should ever settle. You are worth more than settling. You have to choose to love who you are and accept it. You must face your fault and realize your strengths as a person. None of us are perfect, though you might think so, no one has it together. If all of us realized how much we are truly worth the world would be a stronger place. So tell someone that they are worth it. They are worth everything. You have no idea what those words will mean to someone.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
