Starting a new job can be nothing short of exciting and terrifying. You have no idea how the management is, where any of the merchandise is, or your coworkers. What's worse, it's your first day and you've probably had enough first days at this point to know that anything that can go wrong probably will go wrong. Recently, I started a new job so what better way to explain your first day than by using Spongebob memes? So, here you have it! The first day as told by Spongebob.

1. You constantly check the clock to make sure you don't oversleep.

2. You're motivated and ready to work.

3. You look your best.

4. Meeting your new coworkers.

5. You have no idea where anything is.

6. That first rush of customers leaves you in a panic.

7. Break time!

8. You're proud of yourself for the little knowledge you do have.

9. "You're free to go."

10. Clocking out.

11. Getting home after a long first day.

Here's to your first day at a new job. Here's to hoping nothing breaks, your coworkers are nice and you get home with minimal tear shedding. Happy first day!

When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
