I have no doubt that many of you reading this have seen the makeup tutorials featuring Younique's Liquid Foundation (referred to as "photoshop in a bottle") or the 3D Fiber Lashes+ Mascara that gives the illusion of false lashes without the hassle and without being fake, of course.

I am sure most of you scroll past or ignore the shopping link, because all you see is makeup. However, Younique is so much more.

That is okay, because that was me. Before I joined, I was completely clueless about what Younique is founded upon. I am still learning more every day and become prouder of the company I am fortunate enough to be apart of.

Younique is a family. We are a bunch of y-sisters who just want to make sure every woman see herself for the beautiful woman she is.

Before you judge such a remarkable company, hear me out and listen to what we are founded on.

Younique's motto and ultimate goal is "Uplift, Empower, Validate." With projects like Defend Innocence, we have a purpose. We are not just looking to make money---we are looking for happiness and self-confidence. Our job is not to flood your newsfeed with pictures and videos, but to reach out to as many as we can and encourage them to take the leap to feel confident within.

The Younique Foundation is dedicated to Defending Innocence. With its mission: “Educate parents and empower them to protect their children from sexual abuse while leading a public dialogue to bring the epidemic of abuse to light,” I hope by now you are seeing that Younique is much more than makeup.

"Family is the Foundation of Younique." Our sibling founders, Derek and Melanie, "firmly believe that all women should feel valued, smart, and empowered through opportunities for personal growth and financial reward!"

Since joining Younique, I, myself, feel more confident within myself and about myself. Not only are the products phenomenal, I am proud to be apart of a company with such morals.

Like previously stated, we are a family. A family of motivaters and encouragers. Within my own team, there are many times that we encourage each other on things not even the closest related to Younique.

We are family. We are there for each other. We are y-sisters.

If you want to learn more about this great company, or if you would like to purchase any product and feel empowered, I would be more than glad to assist you.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
