There are many times in our lives where we wish we could just go back and redo something from our past. We wouldn't date that boy. We'd try a little harder in school. We'd put ourselves ahead of everyone around us. So, I got the idea to ask thirty people what they would tell their younger selves in just a handful of words. Som

1. Stop searching

2. Just hang in there, kid! Life's going out just fine for you.

3. Stay strong

4. Don't screw up

5. Keep trucking

6. Carpe diem

7. You're first

8. Trust God

9. Love God

10. You're beautiful!

11. Everything's OK

12. Stay positive

13. You'll survive

14. You've got this.

15. Just breathe.

16. Better times await.

17. Be you!

18. God's got you.

19. You are loved.

20. Keep faith.

21. You're worthy.

22. Keep on swimming.

23. Speak out against those who are hurting you, even if you're scared.

24. Stay on track.

26. Go to college

30. Trust your instincts

There is a song called "Dear Younger Me" by MercyMe that really talks about this as well. I would definitely give it a listen, as it really speaks to how you want to go back and fix your mistakes and how you would have loved to know back then what you know now.

This is a time in your life where you've made a lot of mistakes and you've grown from said mistakes. It's OK to want to go back and tell your younger self everything you know now to try and prevent those things from happening. However, think of it this way: If those things didn't happen, would you be the person you are today?
