Although I’ve known that I was a Ravenclaw for years, I never really thought about what that meant to my personality. So the other day while browsing the internet, I decided to look up the traits of my noble house. Upon looking up the traits, I realized that I showed Ravenclaw characteristics in my everyday life. So you might also be a Ravenclaw if you possess these traits!
At Brenau, I am in sorority that in known on campus for loving people for who they are. We are all known for being individually unique but united as one to love each other, and the funny part is most of us are Ravenclaws. I also have been told that I put up with people really well, no matter how weird they are, but honestly I love when people say that. I love that when people are around me, they feel comfortable enough to be themselves. Ravenclaws are known for their individuality and being very accepting of different kinds of people. They are also known for being around people and thing that others would be considered weird. Ravenclaws are not afraid to be themselves and we just want others to be themselves too.
Most of my jokes are very sarcastic -- even the tone of my voice is always sarcastic. Some people even have to ask me whether I’m being sarcastic or not, and this is a trait of Ravenclaws. They are known for their wit and quick humor. Often they make jokes, and laugh at their own jokes, because they think two steps ahead.
Often I love to come up with creative ideas for projects, which is another Ravenclaw trait. Ravenclaws are natural creators. No matter what medium, Ravenclaws have a way of thinking outside the box to create something new and different. I bet if we went back in history, most inventors would be Ravenclaws.
These are just some of the many characteristics that Ravenclaws possess. Of all the Hogwarts houses, we are definitely the nerds of the group, the sarcastic thinkers and the creative minds. Ravenclaws are their own breed and are proud of it. I am proud to say that I bleed blue and bronze.
