Everyone in The National FFA Organization Has That one special Jacket aka You Blue Jacket you mean so Much To me when I’m Wearing you And We all have to Take That Wonderful FFA Jacket Off at The End of Our Amazing Journey Wethier it Be at State Convention or After your Last FFA Banquet or Just at Home We all Have to Unzip That Jacket. You Blue jacket have Seen me Grow It’s Seen me Cry and Even Run it’s felt like a part of my Soul It’s Seen me Struggle to find the Right Words to say. It’s Seen me deliver Top Notch Speech’s and Still Bring Home 3rd Place Everytime But That Jacket Will never forget The Person Who Wore it With Pride and joy Even in the Hard moments and even though the weather its been there for Everyone of my milestones and Small Steps Towards Something Bigger and better. This Jacket not only has been Rained on but it’s Got Sweaty Hands in its Pockets And Memories in every Pocket and Even though it has been Through Heat Sicknesses it’s Like Brand new.

It Holds up to Anything life Can Throw at it and it will Never Be The Same FFA Jacket without anyone inside of it to Anyone off the street can say that it’s easy to Take off a Simple Jacket without Tears in your Eyes But It’s definitely not easy to do with or without Help It’s Been said that no matter what Your FFA Jacket Will Have a good Story to Share with those who took of their FFA Jackets for The Final Time or Your a Freshman Who Just Got Their Very First FFA Jacket.

First of all I Would like to Say Congratulations on your New Adventure… Freshman What Can I Say or Where Do I Start Treat your FFA Jacket Like it’s Valuable Because in the long run over your Next Few Years It Will Teach You Valuable Lessons in Agriculture and in Life Treat Your Jacket Like you would like to be… And enjoy the ride because your Ride will end in a Few Very Short Years Take it as a Privilege to be a part of something larger than yourself and Find Something your Passionate About.

There are many Life Lessons that You can Learn from inside that blue Jacket and here are just some of many Life Lessons you can learn and Life Lessons you will always treasure.

1. The importance of FFAFamily (Sara Smith)

For most of us FFA Members across the Nation this is probably one of my Favorite lessons that I have personally learned During my Time of Wearing The FFA Jacket. I Personally can say that I've made Friendships with about six Hundred FFA Members if not more than that just by being there for them to Support them and encourage them to continue to Build a Firm Foundation of Supporters.

2. The Importance of Our Tradition.

This organization can and Will Continue To Make A Difference in their lives and in their futures. People can try to tell me that The National FFA Organization Can't Take Anyone very far But they are Lying right to my Face because you know what those of you that Think This Organization is not worth being involved in or you tell me that Blue Courdy is not in Style anymore and that it will never be back in Style Let me tell you something that you don't know all 50 states including Porto Rico and Hawaii Wear those Beautiful jackets with Pride this Jacket has been apart of our history since 1928.

3. The Real Trying part of Success.

All It Is A matter of Try It Doesn't Matter How Liked We are or If We Walk Different, Talk Different Or are Skinny or Not We are all Created For a Purpose Regardless of what you Think God Created You in his image at the Perfect time to Bring Beauty, to the World... So Please don't ever let anyone tell you that your not Worth Anything or that You don't have any purpose your not Here Just to Be Here Your Here on This Earth to make a difference and Leave an everlasting impact on Somebody's Life.

4. The Importance of Failure.

I know what your thinking The importance of Failure what does this mean? Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm.

“If you set your goals ridiculously high and it’s a failure, you will fail above everyone else’s success.” Success usually comes to those who are too busy to be looking for it.” “Things work out best for those who make the best of how things work out.” "Resiliency is the key to success" Each of us has greatness inside of us. But that greatness doesn’t just burst forth to make a difference in the world without a conscious effort.

"The importance for me is that you learn from it. Whether it's a goal or a wild dream you have, once you realize that you can't accomplish it. Then it either pushes you towards that goal even more to make it work. Or it pushes you to another goal that is more suiting and what is meant to happen" Lisandra Mejia

Lesson 9 : Be Ready to Lose Your Voice!!!

Lesson 10: Be Ready for Anything and I Mean Anything

Lesson 11: Expect a Lot of Tears of joy and happiness and even Sadness!

Lesson 12 : Take All the Hugs You can get Because Trust me you'll need them.

Lesson 13 : Hug Your Teammates and let them know how much they have Helped you Thought the Whole Experience!!!

Lesson 14: Take a whole lot of Pictures and videos Because If you don't have any Proof No one will Believe that you did Something Really Hard...

Lesson 15: Listen to the Advice Of Past State Officers Because It Sure Helps.

Lesson 16: Get Ready for Late Night Walmart Runs Because it will lead to Some of the greatest Memories...

Lesson 17 : Get Ready for Crazy Experiences Because it will lead to you getting to know the Other Candaites a whole lot better!!!

Lesson 18: Pray Like Crazy!!!

Lesson 19 : Get Ready to Receive whatever God Has Planned for You.

Every person on this earth needs someone to believe in them. They don't need someone to tell them they will win or by successful, but they need someone who is willing to help them try. You are amazing so never let some title or lack there of, define you or your potential." Keep your head high kid let me tell you something if you want something you gotta go after it like your life depends on it sometimes you just gotta get mad dog mean" remember no matter what, a title does not allow you to make an impact, it's your passion that lets you change the lives of others." you gotta try and use that fear. Fear keeps you on point. But you gotta control it. Use your fear to push you towards your goals and Dreams"His plan is not always clear at first but it has purpose."

when we have love in our hearts, we live palms up.” “Living Palms Up” is a choice and a commitment, regardless of the situation you are in, to live to serve people around you. “When we live Palms Up and start being okay with those things that happen in our life that we really don’t like, we find ourselves in a position in the future to be there for those people who truly need us, “The position of your hands reflects the position of your heart” I used to be afraid of failing at something that really mattered to me, but now I’m more afraid of succeeding at things that don’t matter. Failure is just part of the process, and it’s not just okay; it’s better than okay.

God doesn’t want failure to shut us down. God didn’t make it a three-strikes-and-you’re-out sort of thing. It’s more about how God helps us dust ourselves off so we can swing for the fences again. And all of this without keeping a meticulous record of our screw-ups.Living a life fully engaged and full of whimsy and the kind of things that love does is something most people plan to do, but along the way they just kind of forget. Their dreams become one of those “we’ll go there next time” deferrals. “Some people believe holding on and hanging in there are signs of great strength. However, there are times when it takes much more strength to know when to let go and then do it.” Sometimes walking away is a step forward.

You will never achieve what you are capable of if you’re too attached to things you’re supposed to let go of.

Sometimes there are things in our lives that aren’t meant to stay. Sometimes the changes we don’t want are the changes we need to grow.

Growth and change may be painful sometimes, but nothing in life is as painful as staying stuck where you don’t belong.

The hardest part about growing is letting go of what you were used to, and moving on with something you’re not.

Accept what is, let go of what was and have faith in what could be.

Don’t be afraid of change. Change happens for a reason. Roll with it. It won’t be easy, but it will be worth it. Life always begins with one step outside of your comfort zone.
