  1. You’ve had a countdown to the last day of school since September. It was so satisfying to watch that 180 tick all the way down to
  2. Beach tomorrow!
  3. You burst out the front door of the building as soon as that final bell rings. You’ve done your time this year, and if anyone wants you back in this building, they're going to have to use force.
  4. You cleaned out your locker before spring break so you wouldn't have to impede your last-day escape. It's not like you stored much in there to start, but you refuse to stick around and clean it on the last day!
  5. You've been on autopilot ever since spring break ended and classes resumed. All you can think about is the blue skies and sunshine waiting for you, and math class is not about to step on your dreams of getting out there.
  6. You’ve been wearing crop tops constantly, even when it's cold. Nothing screams summer like a crop, and once you switch from sweaters, it's too late to go back.
  7. You're already a mainstay in the block party scene, and finals aren't even over.
  8. You've been completely ignoring classes in favor of day trips and concerts. Honestly, who wouldn't rather go to the beach than study?
  9. You already know which beaches are the most crowded and have planned your vacation accordingly.
  10. You've been spending lots of time outside tanning, even though the sun *technically* isn't at the right angle for optimum tans.
  11. You listen to the Summer Top 40 playlists from summers past, all day, everyday. What do Taio Cruz, Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj have in common? Other than being on your playlist, virtually nothing, but their songs bring back the joy of being free for the summer.
  12. You go out for ice cream and sit outside to eat it, even if it’s chilly out.
  13. You wonder why the sun is going down so early, and then you remember that 8pm is pretty late, considering it is still spring.
  14. You picked up this summer's must-reads the day they were released in preparation for your summer reading. We won't judge if you've already read them. Actually, we assumed you already did.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
