You know you're a Pscych major when:

1. People tell you you're getting a degree in a fake science.

2. You're oddly fascinated by serial killers.

3. You study anxiety which then gives you anxiety.

4. People like to constantly remind you your major is "way easier than theirs."

5. You always find yourself analyzing people you meet without meaning to.

6. You don't find it strange when people talk to themselves in public settings.

7. Studying abnormal psychology has you thinking you have like 10 different mental disorders.

8. During the holidays your family likes to ask you to analyze their problems.

9. You get annoyed when people say the brain doesn't get "sick."

10. You know that a professor can make or break a psych class.

11. You know the difference between Psy. D and Ph. D but don't know which one to go for.

12. You drag your friends to the "weird" movies (The Girl on the Train, Room, etc.)

13. When someone commits a crime you don't want to know how, you want to know why.

14. You call people out on Freudian Slips.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
