LIM College: Where Business Meets Fashion, is located in Midtown, Manhattan and is the place to be if you want to work in the fashion industry. All of the students have a passion for what they are studying and have an intense drive to succeed. Although, there are daily struggles that we all go through, we can't picture ourselves at any other school. Here is a list of things that most LIM students can probably relate to:
1. Even if you live in the residence hall, you're still a commuter.
2. You wake up each morning with dozens of e-mails.
3. You find yourself falling asleep on the huge chairs in the commuter lounge.
4. You own a never ending amount of LIM apparel.
5. When you schedule your classes, you try your best to not schedule a class in Maxwell Hall and a class in Townhouse on the same day.
6. You quickly realized that wearing heels to class every day is not practical.
7. There always seems to be free pizza; or any type of food for that matter.
8. "So, what does LIM stand for?"
9. You get asked on a daily basis if you want to design clothes.
10. Yes, Grand Central is beautiful, but you get a little sick of it when you walk through it every single day.
11. If you live in 1760, you practically live at the CVS around the corner.
12. "No, I can't design you a dress."
13. Free concerts, free food, and free events are your best friend.
14. Sometimes you wish you had an actual campus, but then you realize that New York City is your campus.
15. "Studying fashion must be easy, right?"
16. Sometimes your friends don't understand that you aren't ignoring their text messages, you're just trying to balance school, work, and interning.
17. You know that you can only get the geotag for LIM when you are in the back computer lab in Townhouse.
18. Trying to lug all of of your stuff onto the subway is a daily struggle.
19. You've eaten at Dishes next to the 5th Ave building.
20. You can't picture yourself at any other school.
