Leslie Knope is famous for her love of waffles, her unwavering Pawnee Pride, her dedication to public service, and her commitment to friendship. Ann Perkins is usually the recipient of Leslie's undying love, and here are thirteen times we wished we could have been Leslie's best friend instead.

1. She reminds you how perfect you are

2. And how beautiful you are

3. And how you basically have no flaws

4. She is willing to go above and beyond the call of friendship

5. You would the most important thing in her life… or the second… hey at least you would be in the top three

6. Her compliments are on point

7. She knows what's best for you

8. You would get to wear the construction helmet that said “Kick”

9. Her love is undying and unconditional

10. She would invite you over to celebrate Galentine’s Day day

11. …Because her girlfriends take priority over her boyfriend

12. You know that you would still be best friends if you had to move away

13. And excited to see you whenever you came back to visit

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating.
