THANK YOU FOR BEING MY ROCK.

Mom, without you, I wouldn't be me.

There aren't enough days in the year to use to express my love and gratitude for you. I am lucky enough to say, that throughout my 20 years of life, my mother has stood by my side to support me through every single one. We can bicker like it's our job, and in moments we could rip one another's heads off, but no matter the feat, you are there for me through everything. Through every thickheaded stubborn pubescent teen action I made, you were there to talk me through the challenge I was facing. Through every accomplishment I made throughout my life, you were the smiling face clapping and screaming for me in the crowd. Momma, for everything you have done for me, you will never understand how thankful I truly am, and always will be. So to you mom...

Thank you for the endless amounts of tissues you provided for my tears. Thank you for sitting up til late hours of the night, just to help me to calm down. Thanks for holding my hair and rubbing my back when I am sick. Thanks for waking me up in the morning for school with your crazy singing of the wrong lyrics to songs.Thank you for your terrible jokes, and hopelessly bad spelling. Thank you for letting my siblings and I pick on you to no extent. Thank you for making me laugh until I cry. Thank you for taking awkward pictures of me. Thank you for sitting through the hours of dance rehearsals, recitals, and competitions. Thank you for sitting in the rainy/snowy/freezing cold field hockey and lacrosse games. Thank you for pushing my to be as academically sound as I can be. Thank you for supporting my troubles, and bumps in the road, and reassuring me that things will work out. Thank you for always reminding me that the harder I set my mind to something, the likelier I will be at achieving my goals. Thank you for showing me what true love, and dedication means through your marriage.

Thank you for being the strongest woman I have ever gotten the pleasure to look up to. Thank you for being my rock. Being my Sunshine. For being my absolute BEST FRIEND. You are my greatest inspiration. If I do anything right in life, it will be to become half the mother you have been to your children. Without you Sunshine, I would be nothing. You are the world to me, and I promise, I love you most.

Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
