This goes out to the girl who who doesn't wear make up, to the girl who isn't that fit, to the girl who can't afford expensive clothing, to the girl who has a eating disorder. To the girls who don't think your beautiful because of society.

Whatever the reason is, I want you to know that you're beautiful no matter what people say to you, no matter what society wants you to be. Society tries to make girls think that they have to be skinny to look good, that they only look good if they are wearing make up, or if they wear certain clothes. But believe me when I say that is not the case.

Beauty is not what is on the outside but what is on the inside. Everyone is beautiful in their own certain way and society needs to learn not to judge a book by its cover. Society tries to make you think that you have to be perfect but nobody is perfect. Being imperfect is what makes you you and nobody should change that. That's what makes you beautiful.

Society thinks that women should just stay at home and clean the house and cook, or take care of the kids but no. A man can do all that too while women can go out too. It''s all a part of equal rights. A women can do everything a man can do. So stick up for your right to be a women. Do not let other people tell you otherwise.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
