A new year means a new you... right?
There's something about the beginning of a new year. Many look at it as a fresh start, a clean slate. An opportunity to do all of the things they've missed out on doing the year before. But what is it about this "new year" that gives people the push that they didn't have all year long? I guess we'll never know.
1. "I'm Starting My Diet"
Oh yeah Sarah, what was wrong with last month? Or the month before? Will this new year give you the power to resist all temptations against all things sweet and sugary? I sure hope so.
2. "The Gym Is Going To Be My New BFF"
Fellow gym rats, make way. The newbies are coming through.
3. "I'm Going To Start Educating Myself More"
Reading a book turns into watching TV. Watching TV turns into a nap. A nap turns into a full nights sleep and before you know it, you're up and ready for the next day.
4. "I Need To Save Money"
Saving money sounds so good until that direct deposit hits your checking account and you start dreaming of all the things you can buy. Goodbye money, goodbye sanity.
5. "Only Let Me Eat Veggies Guys"
Vegetables and chicken gets old super quick. Eat the pizza. YOLO.
6. "F*ck Drinking, I'm Over It"
School, work, friends. I hate it all.
7. "I'M FINE I SWEAR I'M OKAY"
I physically don't know how to relax, so if you could provide me with an instruction manual, that'd be great!
8. "We're Going To Start Therapy To Improve Our Relationship"
Because all the arguments are endless and it's time for some positive progress.
9. "I'm Going To Get More Organized"
Buy a planner. Rearrange your apartment. Put it in your calendar in your phone. You'll still be sitting in a pile of your sh*t. Literally.
10. "I'm Done With Smoking, It's So Bad For Me"
No? 2016 can't change you? Maybe some lung cancer will.
