I have never been a fan of Justin Bieber, until now. Back when he became a YouTube sensation, I couldn't help but roll my eyes at the goggly-eyed fans swooning over him. After his hit album "My World" was released in May 2009, "Bieber Fever" was born. His success was unreal. His album sold more than 137,000 copies, and he was instantly a global sensation. I still wasn't feeling it. Yes, I found myself humming the tune of "Baby" in my head, but only because it was overplayed on the radio.

It wasn't his new album that won me over but the Justin Bieber Carpool Karaoke video with "The Late Late Show with James Cordon." This video made my anti-biebs mindset completely switch. After watching all eight minutes and 16 seconds of this gold, Justin Bieber suddenly became attractive, relatable, and kind of funny. I found myself rewinding to my favorite parts of the video and laughing along as if I was right there in the back seat.
Later that day, on my run, I found myself searching for Justin Bieber on my Spotify. It wasn't until I heard that they came out with a Justin Bieber Carpool Karaoke Vol. 2 that I became concerned. I was actually so excited to watch the video. I stopped all the studying I was doing and enthusiastically went to Youtube to watch it. Like the first one, I laughed the entire time and found myself rewinding and re-watching. Then it hit me. I had Bieber Fever. Six years late to the game, I was a Justin Bieber fan.
For all the Bieber hater outs there, trust me, I understand 100 percent. However, if you know you never want to be a fan, I would NEVER watch the Carpool Karaoke videos. Because they do turn all the haters into Beliebers. They show a real side of Justin that makes him more relatable. This, in turn, made his music sound better, made him cuter, and just an overall more likable human.
