Too all the Lovers who's Love has been Torn by the Ways of the World.

Two world torn lovers sat across from each other

Nothing sat between them but a croissant and some butter

Their time together had come to an end.


Heart brake.

Heartbreak.


There was no more to blend, no more to mend.

Just a paper to sign and a pen.


Heart brake.

Heartbreak.


Behind them was their life.

A decadent love torn by the powers of the night.

She would no longer be his cherished wife,

Nor he her gallant knight.


Heart Brake.

Heartbreak.


This grand finale was no accident,

it was sealed in their fate.

The world gave them each other and then ripped them away,

They had been so close to each other, yet so far away.

She wanted him home,

He wanted to roam.


Heart Brake

Heartbreak


One day her heart hit the breaks,

like a clock that stops ticking,

Like a bite that stops itching,

This time, her heart could not be healed by baking midnight cakes.

And his heart could not be restored by daily politicking.


Heart Brake.

Heart Break.


Despite the monumental ache,

Beauty, they did boldly create.

Love, they did ferociously make.

Rules, they did without question conjugate.

But Heartbreak was sealed in their fate.


Oh, Heart Brake, Heartbreak.


Was sealed in their fate.

When the heart brakes, the heart breaks.
