Summer has finally arrived for kids of all ages. However, as much as college students would love to sit back and relax with their friends and family over the break like they did when they were little, they have student debt, car payments, and a whole bunch of other responsibilities that need to be paid for. Summer jobs are a must, and what better way to describe them than using "Parks and Recreation" characters? It typically goes a little something like this.

1. Summer has arrived, and you couldn't be more excited!

2. But then you remember that you'll be working 40 hours a week.

3. First day on the job, and you already feel like quitting.

4. You find interesting ways to stay entertained on the job.

5. You watch all of your friends make plans to go do something fun, and you feel left out.

6. You feel extra tired all the time from working long shifts.

7. At times it's hard to find the motivation to go to work, when all you want to do is go enjoy the weather.

8. You are so thankful for your lunch break everyday.

9. The vacation days you take off are sacred to you, and you refuse to do anything productive on those days.

10. Hopefully, you enjoy your job, and it's not so bad spending all of your time there.

11. You become super close with your coworkers, the good and the bad.

12. Payday is your favorite day.

13. At the end of the summer, you feel richer than ever, and you realize that the struggles of working a summer job turned out to be worth it.

Summer jobs may suck sometimes, but when you look back, it is what you make of it. Good luck at your summer job!
