The world would be a very different place if we did not have office workers. They are the backbones or organizations and the people that keep companies from crumbling to the ground. Here’s to the office workers, and a little lit of the craziness that they deal with everyday.

1. If you work in an office doing one thing at a time is extremely uncommon.

2. Having a desk does not mean you have a desk job.

3. You know anyone and everyone (or try to).

4. You become the master of tasks that you didn’t even now existed (and thus have a very random to-do list).

5. The secretaries candy bowl (need I say more?)

6. Phone calls.

7. Printer jams.

8. E-Mails.

9. Paper Folding and Paper Cuts and Paper Everything.

10. It must be a secret rule that secretaries are the sweetest people you will ever meet.

11. It is very difficult to do one thing for an extended period of time.

I have been blessed to work in a number of amazing offices, and since I’ve had this experience I have learned that office jobs are not what you imagine them to be. Thank you office workers, for being amazing.
