We must first know what Kairos is defined as. According to Merriam Webster, it's: a time when conditions are right for the accomplishment of a crucial action : the opportune and decisive moment

This Greek word is used by Christians. It's described as a moment with God that just changes everything. It changes your perspective with something, a situation. It's a moment that changes your direction that you were once walking. It's words spoken to you engraved to your spirit and it becomes apart of your identity. These words shake us on the inside with new since of power and passion, we then live according to reach that Kairos word.

When we are in the presence of Jesus, anything can happen. He can speak words to us that heals us more deeply than it would take a person to try and heal us. He can heal us of emotional or physical hurt. When we get into his presence for worship or praise, we position our self's for his spirit. We invite him to come and we are overwhelmed by his glory.

The word, or can even be a phrase or image, will change us in a few ways. That Kairos word, will show us a part of our identity, so we pursue that by either laying down things, or simply praising him for it. To continue to run the race that we are called to.

There is a difference in a prophetic word and a Kairos word. Both are important. Prophetic words give you an insight in a situation that lets you know that God is aware and there. These words can heal us, guide us, etc.. A Kairos word, is a word that years, from now, we can look back and know that that word given to us, was indeed a part of and reason for where you are now. When you get either of these, pray about it. Read scripture and make sure that it's biblical. Many times, if it's a Kairos word, that word will rescuer over your life. Last year I was on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic and a pastor at the church told me many words. He told me I had the gift of healing. Months after, I was at this special church event by Ryan Lastrange. There he told me that I had healing hands. Years before that this lady told me that at a church called Awaken City. All three people have no clue who each other are, but they all were hearing from one person, Holy Spirit.

Today, there are specific songs and albums that carry an anointing like no other, because those where songs that were given to me during a time of first discovering Jesus! So many times, I would find my self in my bed room and Jesus would just ask me, "Do you trust me?". It would be like the scene in the bible that Jesus is asking Peter if he loves him. I told Jesus, "Yes, of course I love you". Now, I have a bracelet that says trust on it. In any season of life I walk threw, I can look back and remember when I told him that I did trust him. I can look back and see all the times that he really has been good and faithful.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
