Over the course of several years, college students like myself ponder over what we could have done throughout our years in college.
They might include:
1. Starting your own club or special interest group
2. Finding the right major sooner
3. Studying harder and getting better grades
4. Having a little more (or less) fun
5. Traveling more
6. Buying and driving to games or concerts with friends
7. Choosing a different college
8. Going to college right after high school
9. Getting into student government and controlling what happened on campus
10. Participating in on campus events
11. Make life-time friends
12. Getting outside the comfort zone
13. Being easier on ourselves and living with as little regret as possible
14. Seeing the brighter side of things
15. Spending more time with friends
Throughout my college career, I have had wonderful opportunities and chased my dreams. From Dubuque, Iowa to New York City, all across the Midwest, and even Costa Rica, I can say I have no regrets, but would encourage new students to have as great of a college experience as I did.
Whatever it may be, it would be nice to try a little of everything. Because, then at least, you would have.
