Why You Need to Fight For Your Dream
Joe Mania

The sad truth to life is that it will one day end, and you have no clue as to when that will happen. So why not live life the way you want to?

Everyone is a dreamer. Everyone has that one thing that's been sitting on their mind like a heavy burden they want to let out. That one thing can be a wish, a goal, a desire. But, there can be an obstacle in the way of you getting that one thing. That obstacle can vary depending on your circumstances. But if you only have this life, why would you give up? Why won't you fight?

It is easier to cower than it is to stand strong. Just don't let yourself get used to the feeling of getting things the easy way. You don't know what is worth fighting for until you start fighting for it. Life is honestly too short to stop yourself from following your dream because one person said it was pointless. One, two, three, or 50 people can come raining on your parade. However, it is ultimately you who will decide whether you will press on forward or not.

Your dream is worth fighting for because your dream is something that stirs a great deal of passion in your heart. Your dream is something that keeps you up at night. Your dream is something that you see every time you close your eyes. If you want to achieve your dreams, you need to be ready to do anything for them. You need to be willing to go against what society says. You need to be willing to put your heart into it. After all, what is the point of having a dream if you don't care for it? You need to make some sacrifices.

You only have this life. Now go on, and show the whole world how you can conquer it with your dream.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
