Why Traveling Is The Key To My Heart

When I was a little girl, staying at home for a long period of time wasn't really "my thing." I loved to take road trips on a Friday night down to Nashville to visit my cousins, or to my grandparents lake house in Arkansas. I would get so excited to spend the weekend elsewhere. Don't get me wrong I love my hometown but experiencing somewhere else for the weekend suited me.

I've always been the kind of person who is up for adventures in unfamiliar places. I love how each city or place has a different kind of feeling or vibe. My dream is to travel to as many places as I can before I die

Places I have been:

1. Hawaii: Maui & Kauai

2. Mexico

3. Belize

4. Bahamas

5. Cayman Islands

6. Honduras

7. Jamaica

Places I want to go:

1. Paris

2. Rio de Janeiro

3. St. Kitts

4. Greece

5. L.A.

6. N.Y.C.

7. The rest of the islands of Hawaii

I've had the chance to explore many different places, all have been beautiful, but out of all of these one really stood out to me and that is Hawaii.

My first trip I went to Maui and the second I went to Kauai. Both were gorgeous islands. I have never seen any place more beautiful & peaceful. It is so hard to explain to people how amazing Hawaii is if they have never been. The islands are so clean and the people are just genuinely nice all around. The last two times I have been, I never wanted to leave. The best part of traveling to Hawaii were the sunsets that came along with it. Let me tell you God sure has a way with colors.

If I could pack up my bags right now, get on a plane and go, then I would. It takes my top spot and the most favorite place on my list.

Traveling has a way of bringing peace to me to get away every now and then. I love exploring new places and adventuring out of my comfort zone.
