I know you have a Netflix account. I also know you watch it at least once a day. I too tune into my account for at least two hours (or 12) a day. Now, have you heard of a documentary called "Super Size Me?" It is pretty spectacular and equally horrifying. Lately, I have been becoming more accustomed to the horrors of the meat and dairy trade, and you should be too.
No one is telling you to give up meat. Our bodies need protein and B12 that only meat can give us, but let me tell you exactly why you should never go to McDonald's ever again.
1. Silicone Oil
Chicken McNuggets are full of dimethylpolysiloxane, a silicone oil that is often used for making contact lenses and other medical items. Also, McNuggets come from chickens with oversized breasts, which is not necessarily a good thing. In short, they come from chickens and chicks alike thrown alive into processors. Chicken farmers around the U.S. that know from experience what meat is in the chicken nuggets swear they will never find them edible.
2. TBHQ
This additive can be found in 18 McDonald’s menu items. It’s potentially lethal, but the FDA says it’s "generally" regarded as safe.
3. Propylene Glycol
Propylene glycol is a chemical compound that can be found in antifreeze, e-cigarettes, and that’s right, fast food. Yes, I said antifreeze.
4. Cellulose
Wood pulp. There is wood pulp in almost all fast food items. Did I tell you about the beetle juice yet?
5. Carminic Acid
Beetle juice. Just a nice fancy name for beetle juice.
