I dream of a world where we can go about life without fear, for the ones that like to deny the truth what I'm about to say may be hard to hear.
We the grown ups are being selfish in our actions, we get divided more and more with all of their strategic distractions.
With the things we do we never stop and think about what we're teaching our youth, I think it's past time that we stop dancing around it and demand the cold raw truth.
As adults, we are walking around trying to figure it all out, while we ignore the children while they're hearts and minds silently scream and shout.
It's time we ask them what the fuss is all about, I'm sure that they'll tell you that all this strife and turmoil the adults create they want no part of it and they just want out.
We say that the future is in their hands, but we just keep taking from this world and not giving back the future is slipping through their fingers like grains of sand.
Will I be so wrong in saying that if we don't fix this issue, please forgive me I have to pause for a moment to get a tissue.
As I am writing this my eyes filled up with tears because I caught a glimpse into future years.
We allow so much to go on just for the sake of a dollar, all this chaos going on in this world today I just want to curl up in a ball and holler.
Can you imagine how all this looks through eyes of a child, it has to look so sca... oh look those shoes are back in style.
Who do we owe or have you not averted your attention to the deficit or do we just have a selfish disorder? Never mind that the game is on so a beer is in order.
We are so easily distracted by frivolous things that we have yet to smell that suspicious odor. that smell is this world going up in flames while we sit idly by and let it burn we should all feel ashamed.
When the children asks, "what went wrong?", can you look them in the eyes and truly say "I didn't pay attention because the season of my show went on a little too long?"
