At most it’s an 8-hour drive home or you can hop on a plane and be home in a little under two hours. So if you’re ever feeling a little homesick, you can make a quick trip down home.

Hate traffic?

You can get anywhere in San Francisco by public transportation or by car services. It isn’t too much of a hassle to get to point A to point B. Southern California traffic will be the thing of the past.

There’s always something to do.

Yes, there’s a lot to do in SoCal, but San Francisco is always buzzing. There’s always something going on in the city from Bay to Breakers or the Bluegrass Festival. You don’t need to dig deep into your pockets. The best part? Most of these events are free!

You can transition from the year-long summer attire and actually have seasons to rock certain trends. Those coats you have stored in bins or boxes that you have not worn since late December? You can bust those bad boys out by late October in the city. Anything and everything that you've been wanting to try are possible in the city, this is the place to make a statement.

Yes, the weather doesn’t really suffice for a beach trip, but you can bask in your birthday suit at Baker Beach while enjoying a view of the Golden Gate Bridge.
