On this day, families gather, little cousins play together as the uncles and the aunts sit down and watch them. The grandparents sit back and smile as they see the beautiful family that they created. Sunday is a favorable day because it is the day where most of the people don't work and forget about work and everything else to focus on enjoying the time with their loved ones. I come from a big family and every week I patiently wait for Sunday to come to spend it with my amazing family.
Besides Sunday being a family day, it is also the only day when I don't have to work or go to school. It is the only day where I have nothing to do or think about doing. I do not even study on Sundays. I always aim at making Sunday a family and friends day. Sunday is a very special day to me because I get to spend it with the people I love and it is a break for me from all the stress of working and schooling.
Every Sunday I go to church early in the morning. I meet with my friends for a couple of hours and then the rest of the day I spend it with my parents, siblings, and nephews and nieces. The kids play and dance and the adults play cards or just have fun conversations throughout the day. Sometimes my older nieces and nephews and I decide to go out like to movies or for ice cream, and sometimes we decide to do more sporty activities like going for long walks or even play a sport like soccer. There's never a dull moment when my family gathers.
Sundays are the best during summer times because we don't always spend them at home. We go to the beach or go on one day road trips. The family gathers and barbecues in the back yard of my parents' house while the music is playing, the kids play outside and I love and enjoy everything about these moments.
My Sundays have been spent the same way for as long as I can remember and I hope they keep getting better and better with the people I love the most. If I didn't have such amazing family and friends my Sundays (and my life) in general would've never been this special. I have been blessed with everyone in my life.
