Ever since I was a little girl I dreamed of falling in love with the boy of my dreams. I imagined him wearing a suit of armor, holding a sterling silver sword, and treacherously climbing up the tower I was trapped in.
To be honest with you, as a young girl I never thought my Prince Charming would be a small town boy with sparkling green eyes and a sense of humor that would make my stomach ache every single time I laughed. However, I’m glad that my interpretation of “Prince Charming” has altered to that definition. Because I never needed anyone to save me, I just needed someone who would cuddle with me by the fire, watch chick flicks with me whenever I needed a good cry, shower me with flowers and hugs, willingly dance with me, even in public, and love me through thick and thin.
You see, it is so easy to love you, almost too easy. With every laugh, I fall for you harder and harder. As we go on adventures, travel the world, create inside jokes, memorize and belt song lyrics, drink our favorite wine, and support each other, I realize more and more that I want you by my side for the rest of my life. A day without you in it is a day I never want to live. You have made me see the beauty in things I never knew were beautiful. You make me a better person and constantly open me up to a world full of nothing but laughter, compassion, and love. You enrich my life to the fullest and I would not trade our relationship for anything in the world.
All in all, I want you to know that I love you with everything I have. I promise that even with time, I will never stop teasing you about our first kiss, holding your hand, or loving you as much as I do right now. I fall in love with you every day because it really is so easy to love you.
