Why is Trump So Childish?

A look into Trump's recent comments about the "rigged" election

Why is Trump So Childish?

Donald Trump has made recent claims that the election is rigged and that he won’t believe it if he loses the election on November 8th an accusation that hardly has any real evidence to it.

I am unbiased of Trump as a candidate, but it is immature of him to put this blame on the system. This is not the first instance of him saying this either. Back in 2012, he went on a rant about the Emmy's and claimed that the Emmy’s were rigged because his show The Apprentice never won an Emmy. He said on Twitter, "I should have many Emmys for The Apprentice if the process were fair-in any event, it's not my day job."

This just goes to show that Trump is a sore loser and feels like he needs to put the blame on anyone but him for losing. It’s like a child pouting and whining to their mom that the other kid was cheating on a game.

Not only does this show or indicate that Trump is a seemingly sore loser, but it also is a poor strategy to excuse poor performance on his part. He can talk the talk as much as he wants and he does, but now he is trying to blame the voting population for any mistake he might have made during his campaign which is poor etiquette and sportsmanship on his part.

What really irritates me though is that his message is attacking the country's voting system. His comments could lead to the discouragement against voting because people could easily believe his tantrum and decide what’s the point of me voting if it is a rigged system? It is very important for people to vote if they are legally able and anything that could discriminate from that should be taken seriously, and it is especially disturbing that one of our presidential candidates might be the one to stop people from voting.

Sadly, this is not the messiest thing that has come out of Trump's mouth and honestly the man disgusts me after the "locker room" comments came out since hello I am a woman and don't feel that sexual assault should ever be joked about even if it is just among "the guys." But the whole debauchery of him claiming that the election is rigged just because he thinks he is going to lose is ridiculous.

This goes without even mentioning his allegations against the media. Recently he has been claiming that the media is also rigged so add the media to the long list of things Trump thinks is crooked in this country (Trump, did you ever stop to think that they might just not like you?).

He said recently about Alec Baldwin's portrayal on SNL, "Watched Saturday Night Live hit job on me. Time to retire the boring and unfunny show. Alec Baldwin portrayal stinks. Media rigging election!"

He can't even take a joke that many candidates have been given on the popular skit show.

Now I am not political and honestly don't have a right to tell anyone who they should or should not vote for and by all means vote for Trump if you want, but just know that this man believes he can stoop to this immature strategy of pointing his finger at everybody else but him.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
