Why Hillary Isn't The Right Choice

Hillary Clinton is unfit to be our next President of the United States.

Why Hillary Isn't The Right Choice
Business Insider

The 2016 election will make history for several different reasons, according to BBC. Donald Trump would be the oldest president at age 70, if he wins. He also spent the least amount on his campaign (and self funded it) at 49 million. If Hillary Clinton wins, then she would be the first female president in United States history. I would love to have a woman president. However, Hillary is not the right choice. There are several reasons as to why that is.

Hillary has been caught in some incidents of corruption, such as the well known email scandal, Benghazi and most recently, the rigging at the DNC. This rigging cheated opponent Bernie Sanders out of the nomination. I'm not for Bernie or Hillary, but this wrongfully screwed a candidate who won fair and square. It doesn't matter your party affiliation, it's still wrong.

She is not only involved in these notable scandals, but a few others, according to this list from WND. Her husband Bill used the IRS against political enemies (different groups like the NRA, Western Journalism Center, Concerned Women of America and a few others) of the administration. She covered up alleged sexual harassment accusations towards Bill. (And even supported stalking/scaring the women who made the claims...these same women were also targeted using the IRS, coincidence?) She has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, an Islamic extremist organization. She laughed and defended a child rapist, claiming that the 12-year-old girl was emotionally unstable.

In 1993, Hillary's law partner and friend Vince Foster (who had connections to the Whitewater and Travelgate scandals) was found dead with a fatal gunshot wound to the mouth. It was ruled a suicide. However, White House aides entered Foster's office after his death and removed files and documents. There seems to be a dead body of someone else involved in each scandal, or people refusing to testify or talk about it. If that isn't sketchy, then I don't know what is. I would cover each one on the list, but this piece would quadruple in length. The point is that a candidate caught up in so many scandals, whether past or present, is unfit to be president.

Hillary's past claims do not match her current ones. She claims to be for women's rights, yet she called a 12-year-old rape victim "emotionally unstable" and laughed it off. You cannot be for women's rights if you do this. You cannot be for women's rights, but not support the women and look into the sexual allegations made towards your spouse. You cannot be for women's rights if you stay with a husband who cheats on you with an intern, doesn't care about your feelings, hurts you and treats you like a doormat. That is not a positive image of our President, it is a weak one. Hillary advocates for equal pay, yet still pays her female workers 72 cents to her male workers' dollar, according to this article from Independent Journal. I understand that other factors play into pay, but if you're going to support equal pay, put your money (or employee paychecks) where your mouth is.

Young feminists (like me) don't even support Hillary's brand of feminism. According to The Daily Beast, her ideological inconsistency is why this age group distrusts her. For example, she has flip flopped on her stance on gay marriage. She took a centrist stance on abortion. She failed to address how she changed stances like this. It is noted that her brand of feminism lacks intersectionality or the inclusion of a multitude of different opinions, such as the non cis gendered, minorities or low income. For someone who claims to be so "progressive," she only represents one class and race, the rich white woman. Her "care" of other issues is rather fake and detached.

Hillary labels Donald Trump as a racist, however, she has her own fair share of racist moments. This list from Down Trend illustrates some of them. In April, she joined NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio for a democratic fundraiser, where they made a joke about "colored people's time," hinting that black people are always late and lazy. It was done in front of the black host. I know several black people, including friends, who aren't late or lazy.

Really, Hillary? Cautious Politician's Time?

She even called black men "super predators" during her time as First Lady. What a way to label male members of a certain race.

Bring them to heel? For someone who now stands by the Black Lives Matter movement certainly can't back that up. When she was on a black radio show, she pandered to black voters by saying she carries hot sauce in her purse.

What's even worse is that she asks, "Is it working?" How disgusting and condescending.
If Trump cannot pander to Mexican voters by eating a taco bowl, then Hillary cannot pander to blacks by claiming to carry hot sauce and then ask the black radio host if it is working. This is a big fat double standard. She even admires Margaret Sanger, the Planned Parenthood founder who believed that people of color were like weeds that needed to be exterminated, according to this post from Truth or Fiction.

The evidence is clear in the writings and sound bites that Hillary is not the right choice for President of our wonderful country. It's scary to think that people could support someone so corrupt and, as Trump would say, crooked. Not only that, but she is a massive hypocrite. Her words do not match her actions. I was wanting to cover much more in this piece, but it would turn into a book, if it hasn't already. Hillary definitely isn't getting my vote. I refuse to support a lying, cheating, hypocritical crook.

Always be aware of who you vote for. Donald Trump may seem like a bad option too, but he isn't as bad if you do your research and listen to his speeches unedited. If a Donald Trump presidency still scares you, then look at Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson. He isn't a bad option, either. Both are still better than Hillary. A presidency under Hillary would be scary, no matter how it's looked at. Vote wisely, my friends.
