Hillary Clinton defines womanhood for many.

While Hillary Clinton does not have to be the face of womanhood for everyone — she is the face of womanhood for many because she fights for the rights of women, and that's what makes her a champion for everyone, not just men.

The fact of the matter is that because of your reproductive system, you are not going to be able to achieve things a male is. Physically and metaphorically you are oppressed and systematically degraded. Between most companies not having paid maternity leave, and women not being offered the same positions males would as CEOs or Presidents because of the idea that they could have to leave to have a baby. My reproductive system is not a problem, but in our society, it is seen as one and that's what Hillary Clinton is trying to change – that's what Hillary Clinton is changing.

Hillary Clinton will be the face of success for my daughter. She will be the lady my daughter can look up to as a senator from New York. As Secretary Of State. As one of the most Influential Lawyers in America. As the first women to serve on 5 Senate Committees. As First Lady. As President.

Let me spell this out for those confused— Bill Clinton's infidelity does not define HILLARY CLINTON. HILLARY CLINTON did not cheat on Bill, BILL cheated on HILLARY. By demeaning Hillary for staying with her husband, you're inforcing the EXACT definition of a double standard. Of sexism. Of treating women different than men. What Bill decided to do has nothing to do with Hillary. Choosing to decide you love someone so much to work on problems, realizing throwing in the towel the first time something doesn’t go right, standing your ground and realizing you don’t need to run away from your problems is traits I want my daughters to have— something Hillary exemplifies.

Hillary Clintons video “mirrors” is the perfect explanation of what happens when young girls hear the words of Donald Trump. When they look in the mirror – Is this the man you want your daughters listening to?

Hillary Clinton proves you don’t need a man to be successful. Hillary Clinton proves that when you get knocked down, standing right back up is the only way to go. Hillary proves girls can run with the big boys. Hillary proves that no matter how many times someone tells you that you can’t do something because you are a girl to prove them wrong. Hillary proves she’s going to fight for our little girls so when they sit down in history class to learn about the president, they have a woman in the books. Hillary proves that simply saying you are fighting for women (as every past male republican president has) isn’t enough – you actually have to do it.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
