I think at this point in everyone's life they have heard about Grey's Anatomy. Whether you see previews for all of the new seasons, see constant aggressive tweets about it from its viewers, or just hearing the sobs of someone watching chances are you have somehow been introduced to this awful show. Only people who truly hates themselves will watch this. Shonda Rhimes is a true master manipulator for ruining your feelings. Here are 3reasons why you should never watch Grey's Anatomy.
1. Everyone dies.
It seems as though every time you start to like a character or something just goes a LITTLE too well for a character THEY DIE. HOW MORBID IS THAT? George finally makes his decision to go into the military...hit by a bus. Lexi finally confesses her love for Sloan and Sloan is finally ready to love her back...Lexi dies in the plane crash and Sloan dies from a broken heart. Cristina Yang finally found a friend in Minnesota...he dies while performing a surgery. How could I forget Derek Shepard too? Why would we keep him around?
As if the main characters dying isn't enough, Shonda may as well break our hearts a little bit more with the deaths of patients as well. Do you remember George's dad, Dylan Young (with the bomb squad), and Denny? Of course you do because chances are you sobbed like a baby from these heart wrenching scenes.
2. The show gives you stress, sadness, and chest pains.
If you watch a movie that is stressful, it's fine because then it ends and you're like wow great movie so happy that was only 2 hours. But with Grey's it is like a never ending sick rollercoaster that NEVER ends. Shonda just keeps making more episodes and more seasons and more sadness and more tears and before you know it we will all be really old still having concerns for the character's wellbeing.
3. IT IS SO ADDICTING.
No one EVER just watches one singular episode of Grey's. It just simply does not happen. You usually watch 3...maybe 5...maybe 7...or maybe if you're really lucky you watch 12 episodes in one day and what do you know, you're half way through the season. But who cares? There is nothing wrong with curling up in a ball and making some coffee and binge watching the worst show to ever happen to humans.
I mean, who would want to watch a show with a fabulous plot, dying characters, scenes that make your heart stop, and flawless character development? Not me, that's for sure.
