When I hear the phrase “my person” my minds automatically jumps to the friend I've been through the most with and who gets me like no one else. Your "person" is the girl (or guy) that you'd consider your soulmate. They'll be the one that supports you from your first date until your wedding day, from your first day of classes until the final exam. Your person will be your rock and your pick me up when you've had one of those days that seems impossible to make it through. Your person will be there at all hours of the night for whatever you need and will never let anything come between your special bond. They'll always be just a phone call away even if you're forced to move away from each other and start your own separate lives. Friends come and go, but your person will still be by your side even when you're old and wrinkly. Distance will only make your bond grow stronger, and that's how you know you've found your "person".

It’s almost impossible to come across a teenage girl who hasn't seen at least one episode of Grey’s Anatomy, but just in case, Meredith and Cristina are THE example of what it means to have found your "person".

1. You can stay in cuddle, and binge watch Netflix for all hours of the night and have just as good of a time as you would going out.

2. You say/do the same things at the same time a little too often... (it's getting kinda weird)

3. Dancing it out is your form of therapy.

4. When you don't think you can make it through another day, your person will always be there telling you everything you need to hear, and their advice means the world to you.

5. You agree that boys are stupid and you'd be perfectly fine growing old together, but your person will still be there after you go back to the same boy that hurt you countless times.

6. Your person will sometimes have to be your mom too.

7. But she'll never let you forget that no matter what, you're stuck with her for the rest of your life.

.

8. Your person will never say no to doing something outrageous to let loose and have a good time (which is usually the result of too many tequila shots).

9. Most importantly, your person will never let you forget how special and important you are to them and to the world.

Finding someone who you can call your "person" is one of the greatest blessings in life. This special friendship is a once in a lifetime deal. You'll never find someone who gets you like your person will. Always cherish the memories you have with them and remember to grow from the good times, and bad. I'm forever lucky to share a friendship with an awesome friend that I can wholeheartedly say is my person and I'm blessed every day to have a relationship like Meredith and Cristina's.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
