As someone who only has a semester left of college, I can say I have a strong grasp on what many colleges are like and how they treat their students. I can also say I have a strong grasp on how Endicott college compares to others. Endicott is a college that has grown from a two year, all girls institution to a four year coed college with masters and doctoral programs. Going from a small campus to creating over twenty new buildings in the past thirty years, this college works hard to be the best it can be in the common day for its students. The college does so many things that make me grateful for being an Endicott Gull!

1. Internships

Though it May be annoying to spend your winter break working, the required internships Endicott has its students complete not only help students gain experience in the workforce but also help get personal connections in the workforce, training to help them in their future jobs, and also assure them that they will like the career they will be in once they graduate.

2. The Size

Endicott is a small school which only has around 4,000 students in its undergraduate school. Walking around campus everyone will seem familiar and you will become very close with everyone!

3. The Staff

Endicott's staff, whether it be the professors, administrators, dining hall workers, or public safety and police officers all care about each and every student at the school. If you have a problem and need help, they will do whatever they can to help you. If you need someone to listen to you vent, they are there for you. No matter what department of the Endicott staff, they all love the students of Endicott and will do what they can to help!

4. Close to Boston

Endicott is only 20 minutes from Boston on the train, giving students the ability to go to sporting events, enjoy tourist locations, and soak of the history of the memorable city.

5. The Beach

Who wouldn't want to go to a college that had three private beaches for its students? Its as easy as that? Many of the dorms have water views!

Endicott College has statistically outranked many other colleges for years now, so the information I am giving here is just some reasons why it is amazing, but many people agree! The school is loved by everyone who is connected to it and always will be!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
