There's nothing people love more in this world than coffee. It comes iced, hot, with a flavor, or a shot of espresso. The only thing that's even better than the coffee itself is the barista that makes it. In fact, they make the best people to date. Here's why:
1. They're great at handling people.
People can sometimes be the crankiest in the world when they first wake up in the morning. Baristas know how to put a smile on their face, cheer that person up, and then do it again another hundred times throughout the course of their shift. When dating a barista, they'll know just how to cheer you up when you're down and won't even worry about doing it.
2. They never smell bad after work.
Working in some fast food establishments, you'll smell of fried food and grease, and working at a pool, you'll smell like chlorine. Dating a barista means even when they are at their grossest state after work, they still smell like the delicious aroma of coffee beans. Who doesn't love that?
3. They're morning people.
Having to wake up at five in the morning certainly is not fun, but after doing it for a while, a barista will find herself waking up in the early hours of the morning anyways. Breakfast in bed could possibly happen.
4. They make the best coffee even when they're not working.
No matter where they are or the machines and brews they have to work with, they still make the best coffee. Hands down.
5. They're great listeners.
Baristas always hear people shouting orders at them all the time and coffee is one of the things that is most easily ruined. They have perfected the art of listening and will always be down to listen to non-coffee talk once in a while.
6. They have great stories to tell.
You would be surprised with the amount of crazy things that happen daily at a coffee shop. After getting out of work, you bet you'd hear all the crazy shenanigans that happened that day.
7. They know everyone.
A barista sees a ton of people daily, most of which are local to the area. It is a given that when going out somewhere, they will know someone just from serving them coffee. This can definitely be a positive thing when in random situations.
8. They're creative.
Baristas are always coming up with new concoctions for drinks and new flavors to try. When it comes to doing something other than serving coffee, they definitely have the funniest and most original ideas.
