Who Is Travis Garland?

Meet Travis Garland:

The 26-year-old singer from Texas is possibly more well-known for his appearance with possible girlfriend, Aubrey O'Day, on the latest season of Oxygen's "Marriage Bootcamp: Reality Stars." However, Garland is an incredibly talented artist making huge waves in the music industry. Here are some fun facts about the soon-to-be superstar:

1. He got his start in a boy-band called "NLT."

Is that Kevin McHale? Yes. Yes it is. Garland and McHale were in a relatively short-lived boy band that made some pretty soulful pop music. They even had a cameo in "The Bratz Movie"! And remember that 2008 dance battle between Miley Cyrus and Adam Sevani? NLT was there. Oh yeah, did we mention he dances?

2. He once performed on American Idol.

In May of 2010, Garland performed his single "Believe" on the hit TV show. Perez Hilton (who worked with Garland to get some public attention) introduced Garland before he drove teens wild on stage.

3. He already has an expanding, faithful fan base.

Not only do his fans adore him, he adores them, as well. Garland frequently does Question and Answer camera chats with his fans and tweets to them CONSTANTLY! He is very aware what is expected of him as an upcoming artist and is happy to give the people exactly what they want.

4. He has an AMAZING YouTube channel.

If you are looking for some beautiful music, check. This. Out. From delicious Beyoncé (yes, the Queen) covers, to wonderful Drake-vibe music, you will not be disappointed. Make sure not to miss his original, super sexual song, "Paint," with pop princess, Jojo.

5. He has a brand new EP called "Uppers and Downers."

Once you get a taste of this talented man's music, you will not be able to get enough. This EP is available for free download on SoundCloud and will be followed by a short, multi-city tour. If there is one thing you do this fall, make sure you introduce Garland to your everyday playlist. You absolutely will not regret it!
