Here’s Who Your 'Queer Eye' Fab Five Alter Ego Is
Netflix//Queer Eye

I discovered "Queer Eye" on Netflix a few months ago, and I now realize that it's what I've been missing in my life. These guys have such big hearts and creative minds. On top of that, they bring so much positivity and humor into their makeovers, no matter how drastic they are.

Since the guys are so diverse, there's a little piece of every one of them in us viewers. But, I think if you look deep enough, you can find out which member of The Fab Five you really are.

1. Jonathan Van Ness

You are Confident with a capital C. You know exactly which features to highlight and how to work on the ones that need a little fixing. The first thing you do when you walk into Target is getting a cart and head to the beauty section. No amount of money is too much to be spent on hair products, makeup, skincare, nail polish, and other beauty products. But most importantly, you always compliment others and share all the positivity you have like the ray of light you are.

2. Antoni Porowski

You're most likely to be found in the kitchen. You consider the supermarket to be your happy place and can answer any food questions anyone has. Finding the perfect wine for a certain meal may be hard but you've got this skill down to a science. Whenever your friends and family are looking to have a gathering, you're the given host because of your cooking skills. You're also the first to give advice on nutrition and healthy cooking. Like Antoni, you're always helping others and caring for your friends the best you can.

3. Karamo Brown

The best word to describe you is "hip". You're the person that everyone comes to for relationship advice because you know your stuff. You know exactly what you like, and you know how, and when, to take it. You understand that dreams are meant to be chased and that you can achieve anything if you work hard and believe in yourself. On top of being secure in yourself, your self-esteem rubs off on people, making them feel proud of themselves, as well. Before anything else, you always find the good in all situations and look to give advice to those seeking it.

4. Tan France

You're a fashion icon. People come to you when they're having a fashion dilemma because you know how to pick out clothes for each and every occasion, no matter how formal or casual. You know exactly how to dress for your body, and are never afraid to share these tips with your friends. The mall is your playground and your closet is the most aesthetic, organized, and visually-pleasing part of your entire living space. Last but not least, you encourage others to dress their best and to always be themselves no matter what.

5. Bobby Berk

You have the cleanest and most stylish house or apartment out of your friend group. Some of your favorite hobbies include shopping for your living area, organizing, and tidying up. You love to hear your best friend announcing their move to a new home because you already know exactly how you're going to help them decorate it. Collaboration is important to you, teamwork is your middle name, and you love to inspire others with your unique eye for style and furniture. You know that nothing is better than living in a space that you really love.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
